Upper Station Road Car Park Budleigh Salterton

• This car park is on Station Road slightly to the north of the town
• Upper Station Road car park has a post code of EX9 6RN
• The car park is note designated short or long stay
• Parking is free.

• Motorcycle parking is free
• There is a distinct lack of signs
• There are public toilets on the nearby lower station road car park
• It has around 110 spaces

To avoid (hopefully) the traffic log-jam that often occurs in Budleigh Salterton you are advised to find this car park as follows:-

Heading in to Budleigh Salterton on the B3178 the road confusingly splits outside the town in to two roads both signed B3178. Take the right had turn signed to Exmouth and Knowle

after around 3/4 of a mile turn left down Balm Lane and then after around 600 yards turn left down Moor Lane where actually Moor Lane it more of a continuation of Balm Lane.

At the end of Moor Lane turn right in to Station Road and the car park may be found on the right just before the town council building and immediately after the park.

Due to a very strange anomoly parking here is free 24/7. 

Finding a space can be virtually impossible.

There are public toilets on the nearby Lower Station Road car park

To get to the town and sea front exit the car park, turn right and follow the road down hill to "High Street" a distance of 200 yards.

The car park is right next to Lower Station Road car park where parking is charged. 

There are no signs for this car park off the main roads and it is not on the East Devon Council web site.
