More information about Lime Kiln Car Park
This is by far the largest car park in Budleigh Salterton
It is about half a mile walk along the seafront to get to what could be deemed the shopping area or town centre.
There is a skate park within the car ark in a fenced off area and a childrens play park (swings etc.) towards the rear of the car park. Whilst motorcycles can park free there are seemingly no dedicated spaces nor large spaces for motorhomes.
Motorhome must vacate by 10 p.m. and no overnight sleeping in the car park.

Lime Kiln Car Park
Budleigh Salterton has several car parks, but it is a very popular place to visit and as such, certainly in the height of summer, finding a space can be a bit of a nightmare. Hopefully this web site might have you get a place to park your car.
This web site covers not only the main council run car parks but also the private one at Bedford Lawn and some just on the fringes of Budleigh Salterton.
Use the links at the head of this page to find parking in Budleigh Salterton.
If you include the car park at Sidford around one mile out of Budleigh Salterton but accessible by a footpath or bus then there are a total of nine car parks in Budleigh Salterton.
One is actually free (!) and a short walk from the town but has very few spaces, one is privately run and this web site is the only place on the Internet you will find a "web site" for it (Bedford Lawn Car Park).
There are several options on here that you may not realise and by understanding all the car parks you should have a better chance of getting a space. So do a little research about parking in Budleigh Salterton and you could have a better chance of finding a Budleigh Salterton parking space.
If you have a bus pass consider parking in Sidford Car Park and getting the bus down to the town. Less hassle and less money.
Cheapest Places to Park
If you are planning to stay for over five hours then you can really only park in Manor Road Car Park or Bedford Lawn Car Park, where of the two Manor Road is slightly cheaper (Correct 2022).
If you are staying up to four hours the all the car parks are the same price except Bedford Lawn (which is a private car park right on the sea front) which is slightly dearer but Roxbourne Car Park in the centre of the town is deemed a "Shoppers Car Park" and has a maximum stay of 2 hours.
Of course if you are only stopping for up to 30 minutes then you may find a road side space in town.
For a longer stay than four hours with less walking to and from the town then Bedford Lawn is very handy.
