To avoid (hopefully) the traffic log-jam that often occurs in Budleigh Salterton you are advised to find this car park as follows:-

Heading in to Budleigh Salterton on the B3178 the road confusingly splits outside the town in to two roads both signed B3178. Take the straight on option signed to Budleigh Salterton.

You now just stay on this road in effect. At one point you have to turn round a bend to the left passing a no entry road to the right and then sweep down the hill and turn sharp right around almost a hairpin bend to the sea front. 

Drive past Rolle Mews car park which will be found on the right hand side after a few hundred yards as you enter the town, almost opposite Tesco Express. 

Immediately after Rolle Mews turn right up Chapel Street then turn almost immediately left on to Brook Street. The car park may be found on the right after 100 yards or so.
